Project Name | PYRO : Pyrotechnical fire extinguisher that got patented by me in Japan in 2002 , My PhD thesis was also about this patent . |
Project Description: | PYRO : Pyrotechnically formulated aerosol fire extinguisher used to suppress and extinguish fire. Summary of the production : The invention relates to means for fire extinguishing, use for extinguishing fires in buildings with a closed volume (warehouses, garages, …) and of motor and luggage compartments of various types of vehicles. The aerosol generator consists of a body, which is placed in the block of solid aerosol composition, which is provided from the ignition squib. To achieve flameless mode generator uses heat sink attachment. Aerosol formed at burning of checkers possesses inhibitory properties and a fire extinguishing agent. The present production relates to the development of fire extinguishing agents used to extinguish fires in the closed volume (warehouses, garages, cottages, etc.) and in motor and luggage compartments of various types of vehicles .It is the only fire extinguisher that can be use in electric cars , |
Project GHG Impact: | Automatic (no human intervention) I trust that the fire must be extinguish at the beginning. The spread of fire should be prevented as much as possible Therefore as this device works automatedly it can extinguish the fire immediately, so it prevents GHG , Zero ozone depletion potential Zero global warming potential No stored gases or liquids – No leakage Non-corrosive Non-conductive No Effect On The Environment No effect on the ozone layer as Pyro in its molecular structure – zero GWP & zero ODP. PYRO does not contain Chlorine, Fluorine, or bromide in its components It is the only alternative for Halon extinguisher fire which is harmful for ozone layer . Available in “grenade” format for manual fire fighting Three times effective than Halon 1301 No hazardous to the Environment Oxygen content is not dropped below 20% No air pomp for pressurized cylinders |
